6 Reasons to Get a Facial Massage At Omega Project

Combined with TECAR Therapy, we offer An Innovative Approach to HELP YOU LOOK AND FEEL YOUR BEST

Facial massage is a hands-on treatment that involves the manipulation of the skin, muscles, and underlying tissues in the face and neck. The benefits of facial massage include:

  1. Relaxation – Manipulation of the fascia has been linked to improved stress responses in the body.
  2. Improved circulation – The improved circulation stimulated by massage enhances the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the face’s skin, fascia, and muscles.
  3. Pain reduction – Facial massage techniques provided by a therapist trained in orthopedic massage can help address head and neck pain related to TMJ disorders.
  4. Reduced inflammation/puffiness – Manipulation of the soft tissues of the face and neck can help reduce the presence of swelling, inflammation, or puffiness. Combined with reduced stress and improved circulation, the causes of further swelling and inflammation are reduced.

TECAR ENHANCED FACIAL MASSAGE

At Omega Project, we utilize TECAR treatment to enhance the benefits of facial massage.

TECAR (Transfer of Energy Capacitive and Resistive) utilizes a high-frequency current (felt as deep warmth) to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. It is a pain-free and non-invasive treatment.

TECAR enhances the benefits of facial massage.

Manipulation of soft tissues with TECAR has been shown to:

  1. Reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles – TECAR stimulates elastin and collagen production, which promotes skin tightness and firmness. TECAR has also been shown to rehydrate the skin.
  2. Improve facial muscle tone – TECAR has been shown to increase collagen production, blood flow, and tissue excitability. This results in the activation of the small muscles in the face.
  3. Increase local circulation – Increasing circulation beyond what facial massage alone can accomplish, TECAR enhances the delivery of oxygen and nutrients.
  4. Reduce inflammation – TECAR technology has anti-inflammatory effects that can reduce redness and swelling.
  5. Reduce pain – As with TECAR treatment for any other injured or painful area of the body, TECAR can help reduce the pain of conditions associated with the TMJ and muscle tension around the head, face, and neck.
  6. Non-invasive, pain-free, and with no harsh chemicals or peels!

What to expect

Neely is a licensed massage therapist who will use several methods of TECAR technology during your facial. As seen in the pictures, she utilizes electrodes or bracelets worn around her forearm. The bracelets energize her hands to help deliver the tissue-activating energy into the skin, fascia, and muscles of the face. Each treatment is about 45 minutes, which includes set-up time.

After just one visit, the results of TECAR facials are seen with brighter and tighter skin. Those who have experienced these treatments often feel that their face is lifted after each treatment. Clients also report reduced pain in circumstances where pain was present before treatment.

It is recommended to come for 3-5 weekly treatments. Once your ideal results are achieved, you can plan maintenance visits once or twice a month.

We recommend following the treatment with our complimentary 15-minute infrared sauna session. Studies have shown that results are enhanced when TECAR facial treatment is followed by a same-day cardio session to induce vessel dilation and sweat. A relaxing 15-minute session in our infrared sauna can accomplish this same result.

*Results can vary depending on your skincare routine, lifestyle, and underlying conditions.
